Job Summary
Phlebotomist needed at Geisinger Community Care Mount Pleasant to perform venipunctures and skin punctures, specimen labeling and accessioning, and processing in a clinical laboratory setting. Works under supervision within a team, mentors newer staff, and participates in quality improvement and patient-care activities. Requires ASCP-certified or eligible Certified Phlebotomy Technician; 40-hour per week daytime schedule; $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates; responsibilities include specimen collection across inpatient, clinic, and field service areas, specimen handling, troubleshooting orders, and collaboration with clinical counterparts in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Required Qualifications
