Phlebotomist

Obtain and process blood specimens via capillary or venipuncture, ensuring integrity, proper disposal, and timely distribution to testing areas. Perform venous and capillary punctures on inpatient and outpatient populations, including Blood Bank collections, while adhering to specimen requirements and turnaround times. Maintain order and cleanliness of phlebotomy trays, stations, and storage rooms. Practice positive patient identification, HumanKindness, and courtesy with all interactions, ensuring compliance with isolation and hand sanitization procedures. High School Graduate or GED required; Basic Life Support certification within 90 days; Phlebotomy Technician certification preferred.
