Phlebotomist

Obtain and process blood specimens via capillary or venipuncture on inpatient and outpatient populations, ensuring specimen integrity and timely distribution to testing areas. Perform Blood Bank collections following written procedures while adhering to isolation, hand sanitization, and patient identification protocols. Maintain order and cleanliness of phlebotomy trays, stations, and storage rooms. Prioritize patient comfort and demonstrate courtesy with all interactions. High School Graduate or GED required; Basic Life Support certification needed within 90 days. Preferred qualifications include three months of acute care phlebotomy experience and Phlebotomy Technician certification.
