Job Summary
Perform standardized and specialized phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages while ensuring proper patient identification and specimen labeling. Complete specimen receiving and processing, and handle patient check-in and order entry of laboratory tests in the laboratory information system. This full-time, 100% FTE role at UW Health's Eastpark Medical Center includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus and offers tuition benefits, paid parental leave, and adoption assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of accredited Phlebotomy Training program and clinical rotation
- One year of experience in phlebotomy and/or healthcare
- Phlebotomist (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent
