Job Summary
Phlebotomist (Certified) position in Bellevue on 2nd shift focused on patient greeting, accurate order entry into the laboratory system, patient registration duties, proper patient identification during specimen collections, and clear communication. Responsibilities require handling phones, relaying requests, maintaining knowledge of computer applications used for lab duties, and serving patients of all ages. Requires current CPR/BLS certification and a high school diploma; a phlebotomy or medical assistant certificate is preferred, with prior phlebotomy experience encouraged. Must be mobile and possess a valid Ohio license with insurable vehicle status. Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certificate preferred
- Currently certified in CPR/BLS (and recertified bi-annually)
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Computer skills required
- Valid State of Ohio driver license and insurable under Firelands' auto policy
