Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens and paternity tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, while accurately entering patient data and processing billing information. Prepare all collected specimens for laboratory analysis and maintain detailed patient and specimen logs. Provide superior customer service to patients and handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed to support operations. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm in Philadelphia, PA. This role is open to bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- National Phlebotomy certification
- CPR certification
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
