Job Summary
Conduct venipuncture and capillary punctures while managing multiple patients in a fast-paced clinic setting. Handle challenging draws and unexpected patient reactions with proficiency in specimen handling and proper tool usage. Ensure strict adherence to infection control, hygiene, and safe disposal of sharp and biohazard materials. Prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts running from 6am to 10pm at Ayala North Exchange Makati City. Requires a licensed phlebotomist or registered medical technologist with BLS certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of Medical Laboratory Science, Phlebotomy, or equivalent health sciences course
- Licensed Phlebotomist or Registered Medical Technologist
- Med-Tech License
- Knowledgeable in infection control, hygiene, and safe disposal of sharp and biohazard materials
- Understanding of veins, circulation, and human body systems related to blood collection
- Basic knowledge of phlebotomy tools, centrifuges, and sample storage requirements
- Proficient in venipuncture, capillary puncture, and proper specimen handling
- Efficiently handle multiple patients and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinic or laboratory setting
- Ability to address challenging draws, difficult veins, or unexpected patient reactions
- Good communication and people skills
- 100% Onsite (Ayala North Exchange Makati City)
- Shifting (Clinic Operations 6am-10pm)
Desired Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
