Job Summary
Conduct accurate specimen collection, labeling, and handling by interpreting provider test orders and following standard operating procedures. Process specimens by evaluating acceptability, correcting defects, and using HIS and LIS software for patient registration and order entry. Maintain a clean environment, support patient comfort through compassionate care models like AIDET, and manage inventory by reviewing expiration dates. Operate technical equipment according to approved procedures while adhering to safety practices and department policies.
