Job Summary
Launch your healthcare career as a Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant Trainee - Float (Lab Services Specialist/ Member Support Specialist Trainee). No phlebotomy/medical assistant experience required; full training in phlebotomy and clinical support. You’ll handle front-of-house duties (check-in/out, insurance verification, paperwork), support patient intake and scheduling, learn venipuncture and other clinical tasks, master the EMR (1Life) and collaboration tools (Slack, G-Suite, Zoom), and assist providers and the team. This role includes responsibilities across multiple offices within a given MSA, with the goal of advancing to full Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist duties after completing required clinical training and state education/certifications. Competitive hourly wages start at $20.50 with progression to $23.00 after training, full-time schedule (40 hrs/week) in Littleton, CO, with benefits eligibility for regular team members and ongoing career development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in high touch customer or patient facing roles
- Strong customer service skills and ability to establish relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with computer technology (typing, internet, multiple software systems)
- Experience working in collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams; remote teams a plus
- Ability to build trust with patients and deliver patient-centered care
- Willingness to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire (One Medical sponsored)
