Job Summary
Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant Trainee role performing front-of-house duties (check-in/check-out, insurance verification, scheduling, billing inquiries), patient intake, and clerical support while training to perform venipuncture and provide clinical support. Training provided in phlebotomy and clinical procedures with sponsorship for required certifications within six months; in-office role based in Aurora, CO, with typical 8:00am–5:00pm shifts, 40 hours/week. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and strong customer-service, communication, and computer skills; familiarity with office software (Slack, G-suite, Zoom) and EMR (1Life) desired. Responsibilities include delivering compassionate, patient-centered care using the C-I-CARE framework, managing daily office operations, and supporting providers and team members. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with computer technology (typing, navigating the internet, using multiple software systems)
- At least 1 year of experience in high-touch customer or patient-facing roles
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams
- Willingness to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire
- One Medical clinical training and state-required education/certifications within six months (One Medical sponsored)
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems (1Life) and office software
