Job Summary
Collect blood specimens, perform laboratory office duties including patient registration and data entry, and process specimens for testing or central laboratory submission. Prepare body fluid and urine specimens according to established procedures, and perform limited waived and specified non-waived point-of-care tests as authorized. Act as a driver and participate in the on-call rotation when required. Requires previous phlebotomy experience, a valid driver's license, and a good driving record. Shifts include 1pm to 10:30pm with weekend and holiday rotation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous phlebotomy experience
- Previous phlebotomy training
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Must be able to travel/drive to other locations

- Background in a medical laboratory
- Knowledge of medical terminology
