Phlebotomist: 40 Hours Per Week (AM)

Job Summary
Collect blood specimens, perform laboratory office duties including patient registration and data entry, and process specimens for testing or central laboratory submission. Prepare body fluid and urine samples according to established procedures, and conduct limited waived and specified non-waived point-of-care tests as authorized. Act as a driver and participate in the on-call rotation when required to travel or drive to other locations. Requires high school diploma, phlebotomy experience, valid driver's license, and knowledge of medical terminology. Monday through Friday schedule with weekend and holiday rotation available.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous phlebotomy experience
- Previous phlebotomy training
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Must be able to travel/drive to other locations

- Background in a medical laboratory
- Knowledge of medical terminology
