Job Summary
Collect blood specimens, perform laboratory office duties including patient registration and data entry, and process specimens for testing or central laboratory submission. Prepare body fluid and urine specimens according to established procedures and perform limited waived and specified non-waived point-of-care tests as authorized. Act as a driver and participate in on-call rotation when required. This role supports Alverno PSC's network of 32 hospitals and physician offices in the Midwest region.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous phlebotomy experience
- Previous phlebotomy training
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Must be able to travel/drive to other locations
Desired Qualifications
- Background in a medical laboratory
- Knowledge of medical terminology
