Phlebotomist - 2nd shift

Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Enter patient information accurately into the system, process billing and payments, and prepare collected specimens for testing. Maintain patient and specimen logs while providing superior customer service and handling administrative duties. Travel to additional sites when needed. Requires high school diploma, phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency, or six months of experience. Must pass a color blindness test and maintain a clean driving record. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 12:00pm to 8:30pm, with rotating days off and every other weekend rotation. Week 1 involves a 3-day work week, followed by a 4-day week in Week 2.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
