Job Summary
Phlebotomist 1 at Grifols in Norcross, GA: Assist in determining donor suitability, establish rapport with donors to ensure comfort and confidentiality, respond to donor reactions, monitor donor health and equipment, set up and operate automated plasmapheresis machines, and dispose of contaminated equipment. Requires superior customer service, a high school diploma or GED, flexible scheduling, and ability to obtain state licensure/certification where applicable. Work performed in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids and laboratory equipment; standing 6–8 hours per day with physical duties including lifting up to 50 lbs; PPE required and safety procedures followed.
