Job Summary
Phlebotomist needed to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests, perform data entry of patient information, process billing information, prepare specimens for testing, maintain patient and specimen logs, provide superior customer service to patients, and perform administrative duties as necessary; position located in Saint George, UT with standard Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm schedule; requires high school diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy certification (or completed training), color vision testing, and strong communication skills; Labcorp offers quarterly incentive bonuses, comprehensive benefits for eligible employees, and opportunities for growth.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Current or prior Labcorp experience (preferred)
- 1 or more years of experience working as a phlebotomist (preferred)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
