Job Summary
Develop high-quality educational content for the MCAT CARS section, including original passages, questions, and comprehensive answer explanations. Apply expertise in logic and critical thinking to create challenging assessment items while ensuring alignment with the MCAT CARS blueprint and standardized-examination practices. Collaborate with editors, illustrators, and management to produce accurate materials that meet production goals and deadlines, incorporating student and internal feedback promptly. Communicate effectively with quality assurance, customer care, and technical teams to resolve content-related issues. Requires a Master's in Philosophy with post-graduate teaching experience; salary starts at $70K with comprehensive benefits including 401(k) matching and extensive paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Philosophy
- Training and expertise in the analytic style of philosophy
- At least 1 year of post-graduate teaching and/or research experience in logic and critical thinking
- Demonstrated skill in writing and reviewing academic or instructional content
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic technology tools
Desired Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy
- Experience writing multiple-choice questions or test-preparation materials
