Philanthropy Specialist

Raise funds through individual solicitations, special projects, and events while managing donor recognition programs and special projects. Coordinate annual events, Pauline Bryan Society, and Kentucky Derby Soiree, ensuring campaign goals are met and refresher campaigns are implemented. Build relationships with corporate and business gift prospects, write proposals, and cultivate major gifts including asking and closing. Manage daily data input, database integrity, and grant application submissions for the Foundation. Deliver presentations to groups and individuals, supervise staff and volunteers in the Director's absence, and assist with the database and website administration. This role exemplifies the Culture of Choice® and supports the Hospital's mission within the Foundation department.
