Job Summary
Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of mid and major gift prospects and donors to achieve fundraising goals supporting the organization's long-term health. Execute a three-year, $3M capital campaign by developing donor prospect research, gift table strategies, and tailored stewardship communications. Recruit and manage high-level volunteers for regional fundraising committees and oversee in-person donor events to acquire new supporters. Act as a visible spokesperson for Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette in the Mid-Willamette Valley, North Willamette Valley, and Washington County, representing the organization at key civic and philanthropic events. Build relationships with community leaders, businesses, and partner organizations to strengthen the regional network while aligning development activities with statewide fundraising strategies.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of four years of professional major gift fundraising experience including individual face-to-face solicitations within higher education, health care, social service, or similar nonprofit organization
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Regular travel required throughout the Mid-Willamette Valley, the North Willamette Valley and Washington County to in-person donor meetings and events
- Travel to Portland required for strategic Development Team collaboration
- This position is based in Salem, Oregon
