Job Summary
Philanthropy Officer responsible for cultivating and upgrading donor giving across the country, managing an active donor portfolio, directing cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship via events, travel, and regular communication; identifying prospective donors, developing strategies for solicitation, producing regular reports, maintaining donor records, and tracking performance metrics; collaborating with development and program staff to create proposals, slide decks, email solicitations, and newsletters; planning and executing approximately six donor events per year nationwide; travel approximately 30-40% of the time with occasional evenings/weekends; requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of development experience with strong communication skills.
