Job Summary
Develop and implement data-driven annual and multi-year fundraising strategies to achieve organizational revenue goals. Identify and research new major donor, government entity, foundation, and corporate funding opportunities aligned with strategic priorities. Cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift prospects while leading annual giving campaigns and special fundraising initiatives. Serve as the primary steward of the donor database, managing cleanup, data governance, and segmentation strategies to drive efficiency. Generate fundraising reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators to evaluate campaign effectiveness and revenue trends. Collaborate across departments to translate organizational goals into successful fundraising strategies and represent The Health Trust at external events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive fundraising experience
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
- Demonstrated ability to use and leverage sophisticated databases to drive efficiency and successful outcomes
- Ability to define problems, collect and interpret data, and make recommendations and decisions
- Ability to work effectively with people of diverse cultures, ages and economic backgrounds in a culturally competent and sensitive manner
- Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated strong teamwork and people skills
- Ability to develop productive relationships
- Unquestionable integrity and commitment to professional ethics
- Ability to responsibly handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Valid driver's license
- Automobile insurance as required by the State of California
- Employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Experience fundraising for complex social change initiatives
- Prior foundation experience
- 3 years donor cultivation experience
