Job Summary
Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a Waterbury-based cardiology program within UConn Health Community Network Medical Group. The role encompasses direct patient care in office and hospital, inpatient and outpatient consultations, and serving as a resource for interns, residents, and students. Responsibilities include seeing patients across the office and local hospitals and participating in rotational call coverage. Clinical duties involve general and interventional cardiology care, including cardiac catheterization, PCI, coronary stent placement, and TAVR procedures. Leadership opportunities exist to help shape the clinical service line within a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- ABIM certification in Internal Medicine
- board certified or board eligible in Invasive Cardiology
- Board certification in ECHO and Nuclear (or in process)
- training in TAVR or Structural Heart Disease Fellowship (preferred)
