Job Summary
Noninvasive & Interventionalist Cardiologist role in Waterbury, CT with UConn Health Community Network Medical Group. Responsibilities include direct patient care in office and hospital settings, inpatient/outpatient consultations, and educational guidance to interns, residents, and students. Clinical duties span general and interventional cardiology, including cardiac catheterization, PCI, coronary stent placement, and TAVR, with leadership opportunities to shape the clinical service line. Requires active ABIM in Internal Medicine and board certification/eligibility in invasive cardiology; ECHO and Nuclear board certification (or in process) and TAVR/structural heart training preferred. Required Qualifications
- ACTIVE ABIM CERTIFICATION IN INTERNAL MEDICINE
- BOARD CERTIFIED OR BOARD ELIGIBLE IN INVASIVE CARDIOLOGY
- BOARD CERTIFICATION IN ECHO AND NUCLEAR (OR IN PROCESS)
- TRAINING IN TAVR OR STRUCTURAL HEART DISEASE FELLOWSHIP PREFERRED
