Job Summary
Non-Invasive Cardiologist and Interventionalist role at UConn Health Community Network Medical Group in Waterbury, CT. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care in the office and hospital, inpatient and outpatient consultations, and serving as a resource for education and guidance to interns, residents, and students. Participates in rotating call coverage and sees patients across the office and local hospitals. Clinical duties encompass the full scope of general and interventional cardiology care, including performing cardiac catheterization, PCI, coronary stent placement, and TAVR procedures. Required Qualifications
- Active ABIM certification in Internal Medicine and board certified or board eligible in Invasive Cardiology at time of hire
- Board certification in ECHO and Nuclear required (or in process)
- Training in TAVR or Structural Heart Disease Fellowship preferred
- Experience in general and interventional cardiology including cardiac catheterization, PCI, coronary stent placement, and TAVR
