Job Summary
Non-Invasive Cardiologist with opportunities for interventional responsibilities in a large Waterbury, CT practice. Responsibilities include direct patient care in office and hospital settings, inpatient/outpatient consultations, and serving as a resource for education to interns, residents, and students. Responsibilities also include evaluating patients across the office and hospitals and participating in rotational call coverage. Clinical duties involve general and interventional cardiology care with cardiac catheterization, PCI, stent placement, and TAVR procedures. The role offers a leadership track to shape the clinical service line within a collaborative, patient-focused environment at UConn Health Community Network Medical Group.
Required Qualifications
- Active ABIM certification in Internal Medicine
- Board certification or board eligibility in Invasive Cardiology
- Board certification in ECHO (or in process)
- Board certification in Nuclear Cardiology (or in process)
- Experience performing cardiac catheterization, PCI, coronary stent placement, and TAVR (preferred)
- Leadership potential and ability to guide education for interns/residents/students
