Job Summary
Non-Invasive and Interventional Cardiologist opportunities at UConn Health Community Network Medical Group in Waterbury, CT. The role encompasses direct patient care in both office and hospital settings, inpatient and outpatient consultations, and serving as a resource for education to interns, residents, and students. Responsibilities include seeing patients across the office and local hospitals, participating in rotational call coverage, and performing general and interventional cardiology procedures such as cardiac catheterization, PCI, coronary stent placement, and TAVR. A leadership position within the clinical service line is available, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, clinical growth, and academic development within a large multi-specialty practice.
Required Qualifications
- active ABIM certification in Internal Medicine
- board certified or board eligible in Invasive Cardiology
- Board certification in ECHO and Nuclear (or in process)
- training in TAVR or Structural Heart Disease Fellowship (preferred)
- ability to provide direct patient care in office and hospital
- inpatient and outpatient consultations
- leadership opportunity in clinical service line
- participation in rotational call coverage
