Job Summary
Supervise assigned personnel to ensure compliance with Solairus, FAA, and operational manuals while monitoring appearance, dress code, and conduct. Coordinate crew and maintenance training, schedule non-client flights, and develop scheduling procedures with clients to promote reliable aircraft utilization. Approve personal time off, expense accounts, and interview new hires, while soliciting input from the Client Responsible Officer on substantive operational and personnel issues. Submit required written reports, maintain training currency and flight time records, and actively participate in the Safety Management System implementation. Promote customer goodwill and the company's business reputation through high-quality service and professional demeanor. Must be located or willing to relocate within two hours of KTYQ and work an on-call basis.
Required Qualifications
- Total time = 3000 hours
- PIC = 1500 hours
- MEL = 1500 hours
- MEL PIC = 500 hours
- Time in Turbo Jet = 500
- Instrument Time = 250 hours
- A management background with a demonstrated track record of exceptional leadership skill
- Experience in multiple facets of training for flight operations personnel
- Budget development and management experience
- College degree and/or advanced (non-flight) training
- Interpersonal communication skills to coordinate activities, identify problems, answer questions, and pass information
- Track record of working in (and contributing to the development of) one or more environments striving to implement and continually extend industry best practices in all facets of flight operations
- Typed on Phenom 300
- First class medical required
- Must be able to work on an on-call basis
- Must be able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually
- Must be located or willing to relocate within 2 hours of KTYQ
Desired Qualifications
- NBAA CAM certification or other applicable leadership training
