Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Accurately enter patient data, process billing information, and collect payments while preparing all specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen logs, handle administrative and clerical duties, and travel to additional sites when needed. Provide superior customer service as the face of the company in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. Work Monday through Thursday from 7:30am to 4:00pm, Friday from 7:30am to 12:00pm, with rotating Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Monday – Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm, Friday 7:30am-12:00pm with rotating Saturdays
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
