Job Summary
Develop and apply advanced requirements management methods alongside AI tools to bridge the gap between user-centric Design for Dignity and strict systems engineering standards. Collaborate closely with MedTech and healthcare sector partners to integrate human-centered values into technical processes, ensuring inclusivity and dignified experiences for patients and vulnerable populations. Leverage access to state-of-the-art frontier models and local AI compute resources to advance theory and practice in high-impact medical products. This three-year PhD scholarship, subject to academic approval, begins in November 2026 within DTU's Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- two-year master's degree (120 ECTS points) or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to a two-year master's degree
- prior experience in requirements engineering
- prior experience in developing practical AI-based solutions
- passion for requirements engineering
- passion for AI
