PhD Position (m/f/d): Synthesis and Supramolecular Chemistry

Conduct multi-step synthesis of boron cluster derivatives, including purification and full structural characterization. Characterize supramolecular interactions in various environments and investigate interactions with model cellular membranes using physico-chemical techniques. Perform mechanistic studies of membrane transport in both model liposomes and live cellular membranes employing fluorescence assays. This PhD fellowship within the CARAMEL project, funded by the European Research Council, focuses on pioneering synthetic strategies for modified boron clusters to enable efficient therapeutic transport across biological barriers.
