Job Summary

Design, develop, and optimize phased array antenna systems for satellite applications, supporting active antenna design, beamforming, and performance analysis. Conduct antenna testing, validation, and radiated performance measurements while performing system modeling and simulations using MATLAB and Simulink. Analyze antenna parameters to recommend design improvements and prepare technical documentation and test reports. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support specification, integration, and verification for space and ground segment applications. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of experience with RF technologies and simulation tools. Relocation assistance is available, and H-1B visa holders are welcome.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to obtain or hold Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance.

  • Candidates working remotely or in a hybrid capacity must be willing to travel and work on-site in Montreal for at least one week per month.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Experience with active antenna system design.
  • Experience with phased array antennas and beamforming technologies.
  • Experience with antenna performance analysis and antenna parameters.
  • Experience with antenna testing and radiated test facilities.
  • Experience with space and/or ground segment antenna design, specification, and integration methodologies.
  • Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, and other engineering simulation tools.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting satellite communications or aerospace antenna systems.
  • Knowledge of RF system design and electromagnetic principles.
  • Experience with antenna modeling, simulation, and system validation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
