Job Summary
Phase II Construction Manager based in Celina, TX, responsible for coordinating independent contractors across multiple jobsites, ordering materials, monitoring quality and task completion, and ensuring Perry Homes standards. Manages time, overhead costs, budget variances, and change orders, with supervision from the Project Manager, VP of Construction, or Division President. Requires strong project management, customer focus, time management, organizational skills, communication/building relationships, attention to detail, initiative, and ability to read and interpret construction documents. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations, and a valid driver’s license with an eligible vehicle. Bachelor’s degree preferred with relevant leadership experience; the role involves extensive coordination and leadership over multiple sites and contractors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required.
- relevant management or leadership experience
- Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively and professionally with independent contractors and homeowners, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to complete tasks under extreme time constraints and handle multiple concurrent tasks
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, reports, blueprints, construction plans, plats and development plans
- Working knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Fundamental knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations
- Knowledge of Perry Homes policies and procedures applicable to construction personnel and activities
- Current, valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
- Truck that complies with Perry Homes’ construction policies
