Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician at Wegmans responsible for delivering customer-focused service in a fast-paced pharmacy. Perform accurate dosage calculations and conversions, troubleshoot rejected insurance claims, input prescription information, and ensure patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and company policies. Maintain adherence to regulatory standards and pharmacy procedures while handling medications and supporting the pharmacy team with accurate record-keeping and policy compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient computer and data entry skills
- Basic math skills, including unit conversions
- Problem solving skills
- Age 18 years or older
- Possibly national technician certification and/or state registration (may be required in some states)
