Job Summary
Maintain and track medication inventory by sorting, storing, restocking, and performing cycle counts while monitoring for expired pharmaceuticals. Support prescription fulfillment under pharmacist supervision by verifying products, labeling, weighing, and counting medications in an automated central fill environment. Process facility reporting and paperwork by entering data, submitting forms, and resolving discrepancies to ensure system accuracy. Promote professional reputation by assisting with claims, returns, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Requires proficiency in inventory management, health and safety regulations, and working in a fast-paced setting. Shifts include 5am to 5pm or 3pm to 3am.
Required Qualifications
- Meets state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy.
- Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement.
- Proficiency in managing inventory.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining records and creating reports.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Moves, lifts, carries, and places merchandise and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Stands for long periods of time.
- Grasps, turns, and manipulates objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- 1st shift: candidates must be available to work between the hours of 5am to 5pm.
- 2nd shift: candidates must be available to work between the hours of 3pm to 3am
