Job Summary
Lead Pharmacy Technician at Genoa Healthcare (an Optum/UnitedHealth Group company) supporting all functions of the mental health and specialty pharmacy, primarily dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical duties under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Responsibilities include interpreting prescriptions, ensuring reimbursement eligibility, serving as the site expert and leader, training/shadowing staff, processing prior authorizations, reviewing team metrics, communicating procedural changes, handling escalated calls, maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with federal/state requirements, and delivering strong customer service in a high-volume, on-site pharmacy setting.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
- 3+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
- 1+ years of multi-site and team training experience
- Ability to work onsite at 1035 E Jefferson St. Suite P1 Phoenix, AZ 85034, Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts between 8:00am-5:00pm
- Access to reliable transportation
