Job Summary
Dispense medical prescriptions and perform necessary clerical duties under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. Fill prescription orders, order and store incoming supplies, process wholesaler medication orders, and verify stock while maintaining inventory records. Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff, communicate with the pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions, and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements. Perform various other duties as assigned. Located at 4120 Laurel St STE 102, Anchorage, AK, with hours Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Alaska
- 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
- Access to reliable transportation
- UnitedHealth Group is a drug - free workplace. Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.
