Job Summary
Provide incredible customer service by demonstrating patience and empathy in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. Perform accurate dosage calculations and conversions using basic math skills while adhering to all regulatory standards for safe medication preparation. Troubleshoot rejected insurance claims to address customer needs and accurately input prescription information. Maintain strict patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and properly handle medications following department policies. This part-time role requires proficiency in computer and data entry skills, problem-solving abilities, and adherence to company procedures. Applicants must be 18 years or older. Wegmans supports trainees in obtaining required national or state certifications.
