Pharmacy Technician Trainee - Waynesburg Giant Eagle

Welcome patients at all pharmacy entry points with compassion and acknowledge their needs immediately. Process orders in person and by phone, direct patients to products, and refer prescription or over-the-counter questions to the pharmacist. Use the pharmacy computer to manage drop-off, will call, drive-thru, and phone operations, including searching profiles, determining fill dates, quoting cash prices, and entering invoices. Transcribe prescription data accurately to generate custom labels and file written prescriptions daily. Maintain a clean work environment, assist team members with tasks, and monitor inventory levels by ordering, receiving, and rotating drugs. Answer telephone inquiries politely, resolve customer concerns by communicating with management and support staff, and adhere to all state and federal policies, including HIPAA and Pseudoephedrine sales. Complete required training programs and exams.
