Pharmacy Technician Trainee - Pine Township Giant Eagle

Welcome patients with compassion at all pharmacy entry points and model excellent care by respectfully engaging and meeting patient needs. Process orders in person and by phone, direct patients to products, and refer prescription and over-the-counter questions to the pharmacist. Use the pharmacy computer to complete actions at drop-off, will call, drive-thru, and phone stations, including searching profiles, determining fill dates, quoting cash prices, and entering invoices. Transcribe prescription data accurately to generate custom labels, file written prescriptions daily, and maintain proper inventory levels by ordering, receiving, and rotating drugs. Answer telephone inquiries politely, resolve customer concerns by communicating effectively with staff, and maintain a neat work environment ensuring compliance with company and government requirements. Complete required training programs and exams while following all state and federal policies, including HIPAA and Pseudoephedrine sales regulations.
