Job Summary
Pharmacy Innovations seeks a motivated individual for a full-time Pharmacy Technician Trainee role in Erie, PA. The position includes data entry of patient demographics and processing prescription claims, counting/package/labeling prescription orders, preparing and packaging customer orders for shipping, and handling incoming shipments. Customer service responsibilities involve managing high call volumes, clarifying information to route calls, building relationships, and meeting team and personal performance goals. The role provides comprehensive on-the-job training to obtain and maintain Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician registration, with the company offering a benefits package and a supportive environment focused on accuracy, patient safety, and regulatory compliance. Shift coverage includes 8:30am–6:30pm weekdays and 9am–1pm Saturdays, in-person only.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must possess or be able to obtain before employment begins an active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician Trainee registration (or higher) issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy
- Experience with MS Excel and Outlook (preferred)
- Ability to learn and work in multiple software programs
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and manage multiple priorities
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- In-person, in-Erie, PA location (remote not available)
- Shifts between 8:30am and 6:30pm Monday through Friday and Saturday 9am to 1pm
