Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician Trainee assists the pharmacy team by retrieving medications, inputting prescription and patient information into the dispensing system, creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance, ordering and stocking medications, and promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, professional pharmacy environment and protecting patient confidentiality while delivering customer service and supporting workload prioritization. Key skills and requirements include Excellent customer service, proficient typing, basic math, strong organization, teamwork, reliability, professional appearance, and the ability to handle medication inventories and prescription paperwork.
