Pharmacy Technician Trainee - Latrobe Giant Eagle

Welcome patients at all pharmacy entry points with compassion and acknowledge their needs immediately. Process orders in person and by phone, direct patients to products, and refer prescription questions to pharmacists. Use the pharmacy computer to search profiles, determine fill dates, quote cash prices, check medication counts, and enter invoices across drop-off, will call, drive-thru, and phone channels. Transcribe prescription data accurately to generate custom labels and file written prescriptions daily. Maintain a clean work environment, manage inventory by ordering and rotating drugs, and answer telephone inquiries politely. Complete required training programs and adhere to all state, federal, and HIPAA policies.
