Pharmacy Technician Trainee - Irwin Giant Eagle

Welcome patients at all pharmacy entry points with compassion and acknowledge their needs immediately. Process orders in person and by phone, direct patients to products, and refer prescription and over-the-counter questions to the pharmacist. Maintain a clean work environment, use the pharmacy computer to complete actions at drop-off, will call, and drive-thru, and transcribe prescription data accurately to generate custom labels. Assist team members with tasks, finalize sales using the cash register, and maintain proper inventory levels by ordering, receiving, and rotating drugs. Answer telephone inquiries politely, resolve customer concerns, and file written prescriptions daily while following all company, state, and federal policies including HIPAA. Complete required training programs and exams.
