Pharmacy Technician Trainee - Greenfield Giant Eagle

Welcome patients at all pharmacy entry points with compassion and acknowledge their needs immediately. Process orders in person and by phone, direct patients to products, and refer prescription and OTC questions to pharmacists. Maintain a clean work environment, use the pharmacy computer to search profiles, determine fill dates, quote cash prices, and check medication counts. Transcribe prescriptions accurately to generate custom labels, file written prescriptions daily, and manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and rotating drugs. Answer telephone inquiries politely, resolve customer concerns by communicating with management and support staff, and follow all company, state, and federal policies including HIPAA and Pseudoephedrine sales. Complete required training programs and exams while assisting team members to ensure the department runs efficiently.
