Pharmacy Technician Trainee - Canton 30th Street Giant Eagle

Welcome patients at all pharmacy entry points with compassion and acknowledge them immediately. Process orders in person and by phone, direct patients to products, and refer prescription and over-the-counter questions to the pharmacist. Maintain a neat work environment and assist team members to ensure department efficiency. Use the pharmacy computer to search profiles, determine fill dates, quote cash prices, check medication counts, and enter invoices across drop-off, will call, drive-thru, and phone channels. Transcribe prescription data accurately to generate custom labels and file written prescriptions daily. Order, receive, stock, and rotate drugs and supplies per company policy. Answer telephones politely, resolve customer concerns by communicating with management and support staff, and follow all state and federal policies including HIPAA and Pseudoephedrine sales regulations.
