Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician-in-Training position in Thrifty White Pharmacy offering enrollment in ASHP/ACPE approved training while you work part-time or full-time. You will receive comprehensive training online, via internal videos, and hands-on guidance from a designated preceptor, at no cost. Primary responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, promoting programs such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx, enrolling patients, supporting the Pharmacist in Clinical Service offerings, counting/counting, packaging medications under pharmacist supervision, and inputting prescriptions into the computer for transmission to insurance. The role supports career growth toward immunization certification and broader pharmacy initiatives; prior to program completion, you will gain hands-on experience under supervision in a pharmacy setting. Requirements include being 18+, and having a high school diploma or GED.
