Pharmacy Technician

Prepare and dispense medication orders by reading prescriptions, determining drug names, strengths, and dosages, and correlating instructions with pharmacy policy. Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice and coordinate responses to medical emergencies as needed. Maintain accurate records and adhere to current accepted practice, licensure, and credentialing standards throughout the outpatient environment. Requires one year of pharmacy technician experience, active BLS certification, U.S. citizenship, and a high school diploma. Full-time shifts of 8 or 12 hours available with consistent income and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
