Job Summary
Receive prescriptions, complete data entry, bill insurance, and troubleshoot claims under pharmacist supervision. Answer patient and provider calls, process cash register transactions, facilitate medication deliveries, manage inventory, and fill orders. Maintain Kansas State Board of Pharmacy registration and hold national certification (CPht or ExCPT) prior to renewal.
Required Qualifications
- Kansas State Board of Pharmacy registered technician
- National Pharmacy Technician certification (CPht or ExCPT) prior to first registration renewal
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma
- One year pharmacy technician experience
