Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist in labeling and filling prescriptions, entering prescriptions into the computer, verifying prescription accuracy, scheduling workflow, and assisting with outpatient and inpatient dispensing. Responsibilities include medication ordering, billing third party insurers, maintaining computerized records, promoting sales, and preparing medication inventories. Candidates must have dexterity, strong communication, and mathematical skills, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods. This is a full-time position.
Required Qualifications
- Must have dexterity in hands to be able to scan/key groceries
- Must have strong communication skills to ensure excellent customer service
- Strong mathematical skills required to run the registers
- Must be able to lift up to twenty five (25) pounds up to forty percent (40%) of the time
- Must be able to stand upright for the majority of your scheduled work shift
