Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician Pharmacotherapy Support supports a Pharmacotherapy Clinic by assisting pharmacists with patient communication, follow-up, and care coordination to enhance patient access to clinical services and ensure timely monitoring in a non-dispensing environment. Responsibilities include patient check-ins, initiating therapy-start outreach, coordinating appointments and monitoring schedules, preparing charts/notes, managing task queues, tracking labs, routing prescription-related requests, maintaining documentation in required systems, and facilitating workflow efficiency. Requires state-registered pharmacy technician status (CPhT preferred but not required), 1+ year of experience (5-8 years preferred), and a High School diploma or GED. Proficiency in Epic and Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) is required; strong interpersonal, organizational, and confidentiality skills are essential. Role is remote to start, with potential future hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- State registered as pharmacy technician
- Nationally certified as a CPhT or equivalent (preferred but not required)
- 1+ years experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Experience working with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals (preferred)
- Experience in medical clinic environment (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in Epic and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Ability to learn other programs
- Strong organizational skills
